There is a first for everything and this is my first FIRST in portrait competition!
I think I didn't quite believe it when the news dropped so it's been a few days since the announcement, but here it is!!!!!
Every year, NAPCP holds a print competition and chooses the top 100 images across 3 categories (this year it was Real Life, Green, and Portrait) for display and judging at their live event in Atlanta. I couldn't be there this year, but am thrilled to announce that 2 of my images placed!

(July 2023) – The National Association of Professional Child Photographers (NAPCP) is proud to announce Heather Davidson-Meyn from Toronto, Ontario, Canada as one of the esteemed winners of the 2023 NAPCP Inspired Print Competition & Gallery Event. The National Association of Professional Child Photographers (NAPCP) recognizes the accomplishments and creative excellence of its child photographer members. In contrast to our online image competitions, the NAPCP Inspired Gallery Event was creative in nature and was participated in by both members and non-members who had the chance to place in one of three categories - Green, Portraiture, and Real Life.
As an Inspired Gallery Event winner, each member will receive our coveted award winning NAPCP seal for website placement, increased exposure, and NAPCP member points, titles and professional recognition.
