Yup, we got in trouble with the men with the big guns! Oops.
We were at Kastellet in Copenhagen for a beautiful family portrait session. Kastellet is a citadel in the city and one of the best preserved fortresses in Northern Europe. What we didn't know when choosing this beautiful location for portraits was that there are still some active military offices on site, and of course, in search of the perfect backdrop in a quiet corner, we wandered into an off-limits area!
Under no uncertain terms, we were asked to leave immediately once discovered.
The family portrait against the red wall below was taken in that area - if I'm honest, I'm not sure what they thought we might see through those walls! No x-ray vision here!
We took that slightly awkward moment and moved on to more 'public' buildings, still loving the red brick and that Copenhagen feel!
